UWF Aquatic Center Membership Policy

Memberships are purchased at the facility during operational pool hours. We accept cash, check, and credit card payments. Memberships are not pro-rated, are non-refundable, non-transferable, and will not be extended.

Calendar month memberships are valid from the 1st day of the calendar month through the last day of the calendar month. Semester memberships are valid for Spring (January 1- April 30), Summer (May 1-August 31), and Fall (September 1- December 31) semesters. Annual memberships are valid for three consecutive semesters including the semester in which the membership is purchased.

60+ Memberships are sold to individuals or spouses who are both 60 years and older; not to include additional dependents.

A "Family" membership is limited to family members claimed on the same federal tax form; not to include adult dependents over 21 years of age.

UWF will make every effort to offer multiple and convenient lap swim time blocks, however membership purchase does not guarantee the swim schedule will remain unchanged throughout membership period. The facility is subject to closure for special events, maintenance, and trainings. Effective July 2020, no refunds, extensions, or transfer of membership will be issued when unexpected closure arises during the membership period from circumstances beyond our control including but not limited to equipment malfunction, accidental fecal releases, adverse weather conditions, natural disasters and disease, etc.

Recreation can suspend or discontinue memberships with notice. UWF does not provide insurance coverage and individuals who participate in recreational activities do so at their own risk.
