Why eat on campus?

We view the dining program not only from a nutritional standpoint but also as an important social aspect of campus life. By offering meal plan options to resident and commuter students, as well as faculty and staff, it encourages the community to explore new cuisines and also meet new people and make new friends. On days when you can't eat in, you may use the meals to go program. When it comes to nutrition, and you have questions or dietary concerns, you are welcome to consult with a Dining Services representative.

New Resident Students: If you will be living on campus during your first two semesters at UWF, visit the Meal Plans webpage for details about the various plans, "Dining Dollars" for optional dining locations, plan prices, and payment instructions. Meal Plans run on a weekly basis and may be used in the Nautilus Market only. Dining Dollars may be used at all Dining Services locations.

Commuter Students and Resident Students who would like a Voluntary Meal Plan: If you are a student living off campus, or if you are a resident student not required to buy a meal plan, but would like to purchase a Voluntary Meal Plan, please visit the Meal Plans webpage on the Dining Services website for details. Block Plans run on a semester basis and may be used in the Nautilus Market only. Dining Dollars may be used at all Dining Services locations. Meal Plans and Block Plans offer a cost savings to students. Specific instructions on How to Purchase a Voluntary Meal Plan as well as other details can be found on Dining Services Overview (link) in Confluence. View the How to Use Your Meal Plan webpage to get the most from your plan!

Meal Swipes and Dining Dollars: Meal Swipes and Guest Swipes expire at the end of each semester. Dining Dollars roll over from fall to spring to summer semester and expire at the end of the summer term.

UWF faculty and staff may deposit funds into two types of Nautilus Card declining balance accounts; a General Account or a Food Account. Or, employees may purchase a 50 Block Meal Plan.

General Account: Deposit money into this account and use your card to make purchases at any location on campus connected to the Nautilus Card system such as the University Bookstore, Dining Services locations, Postal Services, Copy Services and more. The General Account payroll deduction form can be accessed via MyUWF > Service Desks > Business & Auxiliary Services > Payroll Deduction > Nautilus Card Deposit Payroll Deduction Form.

25% Bonus Food Account: Money deposited into this account may be used solely for the purchase of food in UWF Dining Services locations. Each Food Account deposit of $10 or more receives a 25% bonus when using the payroll deduction program. The Food Account payroll deduction form can be accessed via MyUWF > Service Desks > Business & Auxiliary Services > Payroll Deduction > Nautilus Card Deposit Payroll Deduction Form.

50 Block Meal Plan Option for Employees: UWF offers a meal plan designed specifically for faculty and staff. The plan consists of 50 meals, which must be used in the Nautilus Market, the campus all-you-care-to-eat facility. Multiple swipes are allowed during any given meal period. The meal plan holder may use the swipes for their own meals as well as for others who accompany them. The plan has no expiration date. The employee meal plan is available to faculty, adjunct faculty and University Work Force employees.  The 50 Block Meal Plan payroll deduction form can be accessed via MyUWF > Service Desks > Business & Auxiliary Services > Payroll Deduction > Meal Plan Payroll Deduction Form. Cost of the plan is $403 and the savings is awesome! Use your meal plan swipes for breakfast, lunch or dinner at the Nautilus Market for only $8.06 per meal.
