Peer education gives students an opportunity to make a difference on campus. UWF's peer education program focuses on Alcohol Use, Misuse, & Abuse Education, Sexual Health Promotion, and Sexual Assault Prevention. Their goal is to promote a student culture of kindness, responsibility, compassion, and respect.
The primary objective of UWF Peer Education is to assist in the development and implementation of campus-wide health promotion campaigns designed to prevent health problems among college students by encouraging healthy lifestyles. Peer educators help coordinate various health awareness activities, generate health promotion marketing campaigns, and may help facilitate presentations in the residence halls and classrooms.
