The first four pages of this tutorial provide a good logical overview of web page design. Read it - it will make your life easier.
The section "Working with Palettes (Toolbars)" beginning on page 7 introduces the tools that you will use in Dreamweaver. Just read over this material.
The "Working With Text" section, beginning on page 10, provides a good overview of how to modify text in the web page.
The "Working with Images and Graphics" section, beginning at the bottom of page 14, introduces the use of "jpg" and "gif" files in Dreamweaver. There is also a section on "Image Alignment," a topic that should make many of you happy. Making an image a hot link is also discussed in this section.
"Using Tables" can be found on page 17. This is a great place to gain a quick overview of tables in Dreamweaver.
