Veterans requesting VA benefits must certify their class enrollment with the UWF VSO at the start of each semester.
Students enrolling for the first time must complete a UWF VSO Certification Interview (pdf) and provide the supporting documents to establish a VSO file. One method is to visit the VSO in Bldg. 18 Room 181 so that we may help establish your benefits. Students may also establish a VA file with the VSO by mailing or faxing the online application (pdf).
Online Application procedures: All VA students requesting VA benefits at UWF must complete the VA application (pdf), UWF Interview and UWF Enrollment Certification (pdf). Students should complete the forms and submit them by mail to the UWF Veteran Service Office or fax them to (850) 473-7345.
After the file is established, students may certifying their enrollment by the following methods.

Some Chapter 30 and 1606 veterans are required to certify their enrollment monthly with the Department of Veterans Affairs. Certification by phone at (877) 823-2378 or online with W.A.V.E. at https://www.gibill.va.gov/wave/.
