Executive Job Descriptions

Director:
Responsible for leading Executive Board throughout the year.

Internal Assistant Director:
Oversees the Morale Chairperson, Finance Chairperson, On-Location Chairperson, Administrative Chairperson, and Fundraising Chairperson.

External Assistant Director:
Oversees the Public Relations Chairperson, Entertainment Chairperson, Catering Chairperson, Patient Relations Chairperson, and Corporate Marketing Chairperson.

Administrative Assistant:
Responsible for office management, registration, obtaining and maintaining supplies.

Morale Chairperson:
Responsible for overseeing the Morale Captains, creating a "morale dance," and planning all morale activities.

Public Relations Chairperson: Responsible for maintaining and updating event web site, designing brochures and T-shirts, and coordinating all other publicity.

Entertainment Chairperson:
Responsible for coordinating event entertainment, incentives, music, and all side events.

Fundraising Chairperson:
Responsible for providing participants with fundraising opportunities such as canning events and letter writing parties.

Corporate Marketing Chairperson: Responsible for obtaining all corporate sponsorships and door prizes.

Finance Chairperson:
Responsible for maintaining an Up 'til Dawn account, establishing a budget, and monitoring allocation of funds.

Catering Chairperson:
Responsible for obtaining all food and drink donations for the event and serving the refreshments at meetings.

On-Location Chairperson:
Responsible for planning event locations and necessary logistics at the sites.

Patient Relations Chairperson:
Responsible for maintaining contact between St. Jude patients and event participants.

Webmaster:
Responsible for maintaining the Up ‘til Dawn website on a weekly basis, keeping team members informed with St. Jude information, UTD news, money raised, etc.
