Just 2 it! Don't walk or jog alone on campus at night. UWF parking lots are isolated and many areas are poorly lit. Stay aware of your surroundings and walk with confidence. Go to and from class with others. If you are left alone, call the 24 hour campus escort service atl 474-2415. There is real safety in numbers, so let this be your first rule.

your keys ready when you reach your door or car.
Park
is well-lit areas and always lock your car.
Drive
on well-traveled streets; lock your doors and windows.
Keep
your car in good shape with plenty of gas in the tank.
Don't
pick up hitchhikers.

prop open doors; and check locks when leaving your room.
Watch
for unwanted visitors and be wary of strangers.
Control
your keys; don't label them with your name or address.
Be
careful in common spaces like laundry rooms, the library stacks, or locker
rooms.
