The Miller Analogies Test (MAT) is a high-level test of analytical ability that requires the solution of problems stated as analogies. The test measures your ability to recognize relationships between ideas, your fluency in the English language, and your general knowledge of the humanities, natural sciences, mathematics, and social sciences. The MAT is used by many graduate programs to identify candidates for admission. It is recommended that candidates go to the MAT website to make certain they have the most current information.
UWF now administers the computer-based exam year-round at its computer-based test center by appointment. Call for hours and other information at (850) 473-7340, or click this UWF MAT link for additional information.
