University of West Florida Circular Seal
The University of West Florida seal is to be used only by the UWF Board of Trustees, the Office of the President and his cabinet (including full vice presidents and the provost). It is appropriate for use at their discretion. The seal includes a chambered nautilus in a crest with the year of the school’s founding, 1963, in Roman numerals, “MCMLXIII.” The crest is surrounded by two concentric circles, which contain the words, “The University of West Florida.” The university seal must be displayed with visual integrity according to the following standards. TIP: The required “clear area” around the seal is shown in the gray area. To preserve its visual integrity, no other graphics, type or background should distract or cause inadequate contract upon this protected space surrounding the seal.
GUIDELINES
University of West Florida Letter Marks
When space limitations prohibit appropriate use of the University of West Florida logo, the UWF letter marks may be used. These letter marks are intended for less-formal, internal-only or promotional item use. Like the University of West Florida logo, specific standards govern letter mark usage. The letter marks must be displayed with visual integrity according to the following standards.
