UWF Flag

The 2003 Leadership Enhancement and Development Program (LEAD) class initiated a project to help generate community pride in the university. A flag was developed to publicly display the university’s colors and symbols. The design selected by the class was approved by the president and the Board of Trustees in December 2003. The new UWF flag was unveiled during Festival on the Green 2004.

STANDARDS

• The UWF flag’s graphic elements, typefaces, proportions, colors and placement are not to be altered.

UWF Name Badge

A standard UWF name badge has been developed to help students, faculty, staff and visitors identify which people on campus are UWF employees. Wearing an identification badge displays your pride in being part of the UWF family and will make it easier for us to get to know each other by name. Name badges can be ordered through University Marketing Communications.

GUIDELINES

• Purchasing and wearing a name badge is optional however we recommend that “front line” employees identify themselves as a courtesy to the people they are serving.
• Badges can be ordered with names only or with names and job titles.
