Why a PRP?

The School of Psychological and Behavioral Sciences (SPBS) Psychology Research Pool (PRP) exists to:

• To provide undergraduates with unique learning opportunities and in-vivo exposure to psychological methodologies that they may not otherwise obtain.
• To enhance professional growth and research opportunities for faculty and graduate students.
• To make available a consistent, streamlined participant recruitment mechanism.

The PRP, and those associated with the PRP, will comply with APA ethical standards and procedures, and the federal Office of Human Research Protections (OHRP) for the treatment of human subjects involved in research. All studies included in the PRP have been approved by the Institutional Review Board (IRB) at the University of West Florida.
