The Student Environmental Action Society (SEAS) is an organization based out of the University of West Florida. SEAS is committed to educating students, businesses, and citizens as to the importance of environmental awareness and natural resource conservation.

Look for the new recycling bins and bags on campus that have the SEAS logo on it. SEAS members constructed 16 bottle and can recycling bins for campus buildings with help from UWF Facilities. SEAS also received a Pearson Students Activity Fund Grant in the Spring of 2009 to buy the recycling bags for student dorm rooms and to host a Campus Cleanup. Since then, SEAS has purchased many more recycling bags for students to use in their dorm rooms.

Our organization is made up of concerned students and alumni who are committed to preserving the environmental integrity of our beautiful campus and surrounding community. We encourage your participation and support.
