The Student Disability Resource Center (SDRC) is a resource that can provide or make referrals for Information, Mobility Assistance, Amplified Telephone Equipment, Assistive Listening Systems, Braille Print, Typewriter Telephone (TTY), Sign Language Interpreters, Access for Low-vision/Blind, Closed Captioning (CC), Audio Description (Second Audio Program (SAP)), and Open Captioning (OC).
SDRC Enrollment Application-An enrollment application must be completed and documentation provided prior to receiving academic accommodations through SDRC. Once you complete the online enrollment application and provide your documentation, an appointment will be made for you to meet with the SDRC staff. The application is available to admitted students through Lighthouse or current students through Argus.
State of Florida Vocational Rehabilitation Application - Vocational Rehabilitation sponsors an office on campus located in the Student Affairs Building #21, Room 105. In certain cases, VR and SDRC work collaboratively to identify the best method to secure documentation to substantiate a disability for the student to receive educational accommodations. Theodore R. & Vivian M. Johnson Scholarship - The Johnson Scholarship, funded by the Theodore R. and Vivian M. Johnson Scholarship Foundation, Inc., is a competitively awarded program which is available to undergraduate students with disabilities who enroll in a State University System of Florida (SUS) institution.
