SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

Dear Science Fair Participant:

The 2012 West Panhandle Science and Engineering Fair and Awards Ceremony will be held in the University of West Florida Field House. Please follow the posted signs on campus for directions to the Field House. There is a Welcome Center on Campus Drive if you need assistance in finding the Field House or assigned parking.*

8:00 A.M. – 9:15 A.M. – Registration and Set-Up*
Each school will have a designated registration time—see teacher for time.  Students must come during the time set for his/her school.  Registration will take place in the lobby of the north entrance of the UWF Field House. 

9:30 A.M. – 12:30 P.M.  – Project Judging
Students need to be in front of his/her project at 9:30 A.M. and must remain until all judging is complete.  A break will be provided.

12:30 P.M. – 4:00 P.M.  – The Project Display area will be closed.

4:00 P.M. – 6:00 P.M.  – Public Viewing of Projects* 
Projects will not be allowed to be removed during this time.

7:00 P.M. – 8:30 P.M.  – Awards Ceremony
The Awards Ceremony will be in the UWF Field House. 

8:30 P.M. – 9:00 P.M.  -  Project Breakdown
All projects must be removed from the Field House.  We are not responsible for forgotten projects.

*NOTE:  Parking from 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. --Lot A beside the Field House, Lot B across the street from the Field House and Lots J and L near the tennis courts. Unauthorized parking in other Lots will be ticketed.  Do not park on a blue curb, a restricted slot or in handicap parking at any time.

All Science Fair participants and parents are invited to attend the Awards Ceremony. It is especially important that students receiving awards be present. Projects being recognized with awards will be marked with a ribbon after judging.
