Dear UWF/Pensacola Community Members,
It is time for the 57th Annual West Panhandle Regional Science and Engineering Fair. This is your invitation to serve as a judge for this event on Saturday, March 3, 2012. We expect over 200 middle and high school projects from Escambia and Santa Rosa Counties.
Judges who participated last year reported that they enjoyed meeting folks from PJC and the community, but their favorite part was their discussions with some of our brightest area youth. Please consider sharing your time and talent for this worthwhile event.
In addition to judges who are knowledgeable in the subject areas represented, we need as many adults as possible to look over the projects and interview students. The interview would consist of questioning students about their research and results. We will provide a list of suggested questions. Since students often base the success of their evening on the number of officials who visit them, we need many judges.
Please respond as soon as possible by completing this year’s on-line form:
If you have questions, please email us at: sciencefair@uwf.edu
