Registration: The Clinical Laboratory Sciences Program is a licensed provider of continuing education for Florida laboratory professionals under license number JCP 229. All courses will be posted to CE Broker, available to subscribers at http://www.cebroker.com. Earn CE credits toward your laboratory license. Your licensure renews in August 2008, so complete the topics you need for your license prior to the deadline and receive your credit. Save the topics you don’t need until September, and use these toward your 2010 licensure!
Biennial Requirements for Continuing Education: The State of Florida mandates continuing education for all laboratory professionals. In order to maintain a license as a technician or technologist, the licensee must earn 24 proscribed credit hours per biennium:

The Advisory Committee to the School of Allied Health and Life Sciences
consists of
members from health-related programs at UWF and members from the regional health
care and public health communities. This committee is responsible for identifying and evaluating
educational programs designed to fill regional workforce and public health needs.
On-line surveys are employed where appropriate to gain valuable input from the
