SAHLS offers certificate programs in the following areas:

• Biology Offering five different credit-earning certificates.
• Medical Informatics A 4-course graduate program emphasizing real world interactions between medicine and technology, and available online.
• Health Care Ethics A 4-course program focusing on critical ethical issues facing health care providers, patients, and their families.
• Public Health Five certificates available meeting workforce development needs of public health practitioners, and available online:
  • Emergency Management
  • Environmental Health
  • Infection Control
  • Occupational Safety and Health
  • Public Health Preparedness and Response (undergraduate level)

Check with your academic advisor, as courses taken in certificate programs may be eligible as technical electives in various undergraduate and graduate degree programs at UWF or elsewhere.
