The Alliance for Medical Informatics at UWF is piloting online CME/CEU mini-courses with members of the health care community. A typical mini-course consists of:

• Narrated PowerPoint Presentation - approximately one to two hours of the latest facts versus hype on a medical informatics topic, using current resources
• Quiz for CME/CEU credit
• Access to Online Resources - including:
  • Links to the latest literature
  • Access to the most recent chapter on the topic from Medical Informatics: Practical Guide for Healthcare and Information Technology Professionals, 4th Edition.

• e-Prescribing and Patient Safety - 1.0 CME/CEU
• Electronic Health Records: Fact vs. Hype - 2.0 CME/CEU

Mini-courses are priced at $20.00 per CME/CEU credit hour.
