Most of my research involves the study of functionalized polymers. Current research projects are in the areas shown below.

· Synthesis of new hyperbranched polymers by cationic ring-opening polymerization

· Mathematical modeling, e.g., of diatomic interaction potentials, chemical process variables

· Derivatization of hyperbranched polyethers

· Novel routes to self-doped conducting polymers, especially sulfonated polyanilines
