The UWF Sailing Team/Club maintains a specific purpose of serving the students, faculty, and staff of the UWF community. We provide an environment for sailing instructions, training, recreation, and collegiate competition.

All skill levels are strongly encouraged to participate in the sailing program, from recreational beginners to experienced competitors. Our goal is to expose as many UWF students to sailing as possible. No experience necessary! 

Saturday Sailing

UWF offers a day of sailing for all students, faculty, and staff out of the Pensacola Yacht Club, 11am-3pm on most Saturdays, weather permitting. Call the HLS Facility Service Desk to confirm open sailing is planned for an upcoming Saturday. Be at the Pensacola Yacht Club at 11am sharp with your Nautilus Card ready to learn and get wet. We are guests of the Pensacola Yacht Club with the condition that you are under the supervision of the UWF sailing attendant, so if you arrive late and don't see the attendant, they are on the water and you need to return another day.
