The UWF Sailing Team/Club
Maintains a specific purpose of serving the Students, Faculty, and Staff of the UWF community. We provide an environment for sailing instructions, training, recreation, and collegiate competition.
All skill levels are strongly encouraged to participate in the sailing program, from recreational beginners to experienced competitors. Our goal is to expose as many UWF students to sailing as possible. No experience necessary!
Saturday Sailing
Starts September 5, 2009!
UWF offers a day of sailing for all students, faculty and staff out of the Pensacola Yacht Club, Saturdays 10am-4pm. Register in the HLS Facility at the Customer Service Desk. Then be at the Pensacola Yacht Club at 10am sharp with your Nautilus Card ready to learn and get wet. We are guests of the Pensacola Yacht Club with the condition that you are under the supervision of the UWF sailing attendant, so if you arrive late and don't see the attendant, they are on the water and you need to return another day. Sailing Club hosts Meet & Greet at Island Cove Marina, Friday 10/16 @ 5:30.
