Regular hours are for unstructured climbing. Climbers must be accompanied by certified belayers.

Participants can obtain certification by taking a daily climbing clinic and/or passing a belay test.

Two staff are always present during open climb for supervision and instruction of the clinics. *Unless otherwise noted, the Climbing Center is closed for staff training and wall maintenance during school holidays and breaks as well as the first and last two weeks of summer.

Instruction

While the walls may look intimidating, we provide climbing and instruction tailored to the total beginner, even those with a healthy fear of heights. The skills needed to safely climb under staff supervision can be learned over about two hours in our free intro Climbing Clinic. Other more detailed instructional courses we hope to offer in the future may include:
