Hurricane Preparedness

In addition, the University of West Florida's Health, Leisure and Sports Facility has been declared a Red Cross Emergency Shelter. It will be the first shelter opened in many emergency situations. In the event that circumstances warrant it, the HLS Facility will be closed to the public and will be under the control of the Red Cross until the event has passed. Should this occur, HLS Facility patrons will be notified through my.uwf.edu, WUWF 88.1, Recreation's website (uwf.edu/recreation), and signs posted at the entrances and throughout
