Fitness Assessments
Pre- and post-fitness assessments are
highly encouraged for all WOW participants. At these times, your blood pressure,
weight, body fat, aerobic fitness, flexibility and strength will be measured.
Fitness assessments take no
longer than 30 minutes and they provide a reliable prediction of your current
fitness level. Keep in mind you can opt-out of the fitness assessments,
or only choose to measure certain assessment components.
After you have completed WOW, you can compare your results from the pre-fitness assessment to the post-fitness assessment. This is a great way to track your improvement.
All fitness assessments will be scheduled prior to the program or after the participant has registered for the program.
| "This was the best WOW program. Everything was well
organized and communication was excellent. We always knew in advance what
was going on." --Spring 2010 WOW Participant |

"The trainers were very good about working with you to meet specific needs."
"All the trainers were very helpful and informative. I loved this class. It gave me the motivation I needed to add weight training to my work-out schedule. I look forward to working out each week and I feel like it is making me stronger and in all-round better physical and mental condition."
"I've been somewhat athletic most of my life, but never learned to lift weights. I really enjoyed it and wish I had learned years ago. Thank you so much for starting this program. It's making a difference in how fit I am, but also in how I feel. Not just physically. I'm just plain happier!"
"The trainers were infinitely patient with explanations."
"The trainers are what MADE this program. In addition to their knowledge about the equipment and the way the body works, they were invariably energetic and enthusiastic--even at 6:30 a.m.!"
"I would definitely recommend to a friend. Having someone there to ask questions helped A LOT."
"The program was excellent. I can definitely tell I gained muscle, and my arms and legs are much more tone than before. I really enjoyed the program and the trainers were a great motivating factor for my workouts."
"The boot camps are a nice change from lifting weights. They were fun and challenging."
"...I have already recommended it to some friends. This is a great program and the staff (trainers) were always available, friendly and willing to explain the equipment, exercise, etc."
