
Recreation and Sports Services Fitness/Wellness program offers over 30 group
fitness classes each week for fitness levels ranging from the beginner to
the advanced participant. Participants are encouraged to work at their own
intensity by our motivating and enthusiastic instructors. Each class is uniquely
designed to give you a great workout so you will be inspired to return over
and over again!
The Group Fitness class schedule provides a variety of cardiovascular,
strength, and flexibility workouts from which to choose. All classes
are FREE and scheduled at various days and times of the week, allowing
for flexibility
in individual scheduling. Class formats focus on motivation and fun,
yet tailored to assist participants in reaching their personal
fitness
goals.
Group Fitness Policies
- Class size may be limited due
to equipment and space requirements.
- All participants must arrive
on time. (Instructors may deny you access to class if you arrive
after the warm-up period.)
- A minimum of 2 participants must
be present in order for the instructor to teach the class.
- Group Fitness equipment must be cleaned and sanitized before and after
use.
- All participants MUST complete and sign a Waiver before participating in
any Group Fitness class.
- Participants who may need special
modifications must inform the instructor prior the start of the class.
- The use of cell phones are not
permitted inside group fitness studios. If particiipant's
cell phone interrupts a class while in session, the instructor has the
right to excuse the participant from the class.
