Thinking about a fitness tune-up?  Get ready for action.  UWF students, faculty, staff, and alumni have more opportunities to keep in shape with the opening of the brand new Health, Leisure and Sports Facility (HLS).

The new building is located on Campus Drive at the University of West Florida.  The 108,000 square foot facility, which doubles the size of the Field House, will be home to both the Division of Health, Leisure, and Exercise Science academic programs and the Department of Recreation and Sports Services.

The HLS Facility also includes offices, four new classrooms, biomechanics and motor learning labs and teaching gyms.  The new building has a 10,000 square-foot fitness center, 1/8th mile indoor track, 36-foot high climbing wall, volleyball, basketball, racquetball, and badminton courts.  Personal training and massage therapy are also available for minimal fees.

Access to facilities requires an active UWF Nautilus Card.

*Wellness Pass includes membership access to HLS Facility and Aquatic Center - Alumni only.

** Dependents must be no older than 22 years of age and at least 16 to use the Fitness Center.

***Must have attended UWF the previous semester.

****Guest - Facility members are permitted sponsorship of one guest (per visit) for a fee of $5.00.  The daily guest fee is paid at the customer service desk and the sponsor must sign their guest into the facility.  The sponsor must always accompany their guest and is responsible for the actions of their guest.

Children's Policy
Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied and supervised by an adult Nautilus Card holder in all recreational areas. (Adult Nautilus Card holders must be at least 18 years old). Children under 16 are not permitted in the fitness center.
