Rules and Regulations

A valid Nautilus Card is required for entry into the HLS Facility.
A valid Nautilus Card is required to check out any item/ Recreational equipment checkout is only available to UWF students, staff, and faculty.
Scheduled activities take precedence.
As a university patron, you will be expected to abide by all university policies.
Inappropriate behavior may result in the termination of this privilege with no fee refund.
Proper, non-marking athletic shoes are required.
UWF Recreational and Sports Services is not responsible for lost and/or stolen items.
Participation in any recreational sports activity is voluntary.
The University of West Florida is not responsible for any injury that may occur to individuals participating in any recreational sports activity.
UWF does not provide insurance.

Admittance Policies

Members of the university community should already have a Nautilus Card and may gain access to facilities by using their card. This includes UWF students, staff, faculty, and alumni members.

Secondary users

Spouse of a UWF student, staff, or faculty member.
Dependent of a UWF student, staff, or faculty member between the ages of 16-22 years old.

Guest Policy

Facility members are permitted sponsorship of one guest per visit for a fee of $5.00. The daily guest fee is paid at the cutomer service desk and the receipt serves as the guest pass for that day only. The sponsor must always accompany their guest, are responsible for the actions or their guest, and the guest pass receipt must be present for reentry throughout the day. The guest pass itself may only be used for the initial guest. Any new guests throughout the day will require an additional $5.00 fee.

Children’s Policy

Currently children under 16 must be accompanied and supervised by an adult Nautilus Card holder in all recreation areas. Adult Nautilus Card holder must be at least 18 years old. Children under 16 are not permitted in the Fitness Center.
