Job Title: |
Sailing Attendant |
Purpose: |
To supervise use of UWF sailing equipment. |
Reports To: |
Outdoor Adventures Coordinator |
Qualifications: |
•A passion for sailing and teaching others. •Experience with sailing and maintenance of boats ranging from 10’ to 25’. •Experience driving motor boats. |
Duties & Responsibilities: |
•Launch and operate a rescue boat •Check out equipment •Perform equipment maintenance •Maintain documentation •Instruct and test sailing skills •Enforce sailing policies •Attend UWF Sailing Club meetings as an active member •Participate in other duties and activities as needed for the benefit of the entire Outdoor Adventure program and the Recreation & Sports Services department. •Attend regular Outdoor Adventures staff meetings and all-staff trainings. |
Salary: |
Starting pay is $7.00 per hour. Pay increases $0.25 per year. Training is paid. |
