Ray has been enjoying all the outdoor adventure New Jersey could offer since the time he could walk. He grew up in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, and was an avid cycling enthusiast, backpacker, and snowboarder. He completed his BS in Accounting from Rowan University in Glassboro NJ, a small city just outside of Philadelphia. He spent his undergrad working for Intramural Sports as a manager and a veteran official. As soon as he found out there was a part of campus recreation involving the outdoors, he never looked back.
