Avis is UWF's current car rental company on State Contract. Avis assumes all damage losses to rental vehicles specified in the contract making it unnecessary to purchase additional insurance.

However, if a vehicle is rented from an agency other than Avis, UWF becomes responsible for damages In order to adequately protect UWF, the Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) or Loss Damage Waiver (LDW) should be purchased. This additional insurance charge may increase the rental fee, creating a cost higher than renting the vehicle from Avis.
