Dear faculty and staff,
By now, you may have noticed a few new billboards around Pensacola advertising UWF’s fall marketing campaign aimed at student recruitment. Our focus is on recruiting traditional students who will enroll for the Fall 2011 semester. If we work together to recruit quality students, we can surpass our goals and take control of our future.
The theme of this new campaign is “More Than You Think, Think UWF,” which reflects that UWF is much more than the "college in your backyard." All of us know there is much “more than you think” at UWF, and we want to entice prospective students to take a closer look at what we have to offer.
I encourage you to place a “Think UWF” magnet on your car to help promote the university and our new campaign. Marketing and Creative Services distributed magnets this week via campus mail to all faculty and staff. You may notice that I placed a few on my car! (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZTdrIWGsxFg)
I also hope you will insert a “Think UWF” image (http://uwf.edu/marketing/internal/Gmail_Instructions.pdf) in your e-mail signature. You may also “like” UWF’s official Facebook fan page to share what makes you proud to be an Argonaut and why UWF is “More Than You Think!”
Each of us plays a role in "taking control of our future." Please do your part to make UWF visible in our community and to entice prospective students to "Think UWF."
