I am pleased to announce that Dr. Kevin Bailey will join the University of West Florida family as vice president of Student Affairs Aug. 1, 2010. Dr. Bailey has significant student affairs experience and most recently served as associate vice president of Student Affairs at Tulane University. His experience spans to Millersville University where he served as assistant vice president of Student Affairs and Bowling Green State University where he served as associate dean of Students.

Dr. Bailey holds a doctorate in higher education administration from Bowling Green State University; a master’s of student affairs and a bachelor’s in management information systems/accounting from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Bailey also completed a management development program at Harvard University.

I look forward to welcoming Dr. Bailey into this important position and I hope that you will reach out to provide a warm UWF welcome and offer your support as he takes the helm of Student Affairs.
