Directions for completing the Pretest.
All tests in this course will be given using eLearning.  eLearning is a course management tool used for delivering online courses and has a variety of features.  The only features we will use in this course is the Testing and Chat options.  By virtue of being registered in this course you have access to the tests as I make them available.  The Pretest will not only provide you with some ideas about what you do and do not know in relation to course content, it will also serve as a practice at using the elearning system to insure everyone is able to access the course tests.
  1. Once you are ready to begin the Pretest, logon to eLearning. [NOTE: There is information about eLearning in the eLearning student orientation guide from ITS.]
  2. Select the quizzes section.
  3. Select the Pre-Test. The test should take you about 30-45 minutes. Hit the Go to Submit button when you are done. Then click the Submit Quiz button on the next page.
  4. When you're finished with the exam, take a break! You deserve it!
  5. After your break make sure to go back to Lesson 3 at the Library and complete your reaction paper.
