Inspection
List

This will be provided for you each week to make sure you don't forget anything.  ALL ASSIGNMENTS ARE DUE NO LATER THAN WEDNESDAY, February 25 AT 5:00 PM UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED:

• Make sure you completed all the assignments in the chief's inspection list for last week. 
• Complete the quiz on network security, protection and privacy in the elearning system.
• FTP your network diagram web page (with graphic) to your space on the UWF Student Web Server.  Send me the url.
• Continue working on your summary of research table.
• Turn in your School Technology Plan Analysis and Report

The skills/knowledge you are using this week include:

• Managing files and folders
• protecting yourself against viruses, worms, and other hacks
• protecting your privacy
• FTPing a web page

Next week we will be on the hot topics of Peer to Peer networks, copyright, and ethics.  Many of you have probably heard of Napster by now.  We are going to take a look at some of the newer peer-to-peer technologies that have emerged in the absence of Napster and discuss some of the copyright and ethical issues surrounding such networks.  In addition we will be looking at considerations related to making web sites ADA compliant and what that means.  If you have time, do a search on one or more of these topics and see what you can find.  We will also be working with PowerPoint and learning how to develop presentations using that tool.
