Welcome to your seventh week of firefighting at Firehouse 6287. You are half way through your stint here at the Station.

This week you are going to learn to FTP your web page with your network diagram from last week to the UWF Student Web Server.  This is a task that can go very smooth or can have some rough spots.  So, please contact me if you need assistance once you have attempted the drill. A few of you have already worked ahead on this and I have received your urls so congrats on getting over this hump:-) I have reviewed the network diagrams I have received thus far and most are looking very good.

Your School Technology Plan Analysis and Report is also due this week. You have been working on this for several weeks. If you have any final questions about the assignment then please feel free to ask.

My goals for you during this week's drills are to:

• learn about network security, how to protect your computer and your privacy
• do some file management to insure you are ready to ftp your web page
• Learn a tiny bit about html source code
• FTP your network diagram web page to the student web server.
• Begin working on your summary table of research
