Application deadline date is March 1, 2013. All nursing program prerequisites must be completed by the end of December 2012 to be eligible for admission in fall 2013.

The minimum GPA to apply to the nursing program is 3.0.
All nursing program prerequisites must be completed with a minimum grade of "C" by the end of fall semester prior to starting our program the following fall semester (ex: completed by Dec 2012 to start our program in Aug 2013). We admit 50 students every fall semester.

You will need to take the TEAS version V (no other version is acceptable) entrance exam between August 15, 2012 and February 28, 2013. Only TEAS version V scores taken between these dates will be considered for Fall 2013 admission.
You may take the TEAS V up to 3 times during the application period. Your highest score will be the one used in the selection process. Please insure your registration fee includes having your score sent by ATI to UWF BSN. Minimum score needed is 73% of the Adjusted Individual Total Score.
UWF Bookstore has a study guide for the TEAS V available for purchase. You may contact the bookstore at 850-474-2150. You may also purchase study guides, practice tests, and other study materials directly from ATI by visiting their website at atitesting.com.

To register go to atitesting.com and click on Register for TEAS with PSI, then click on Learn More. Cost is $110 and that includes having ATI send your score to UWF's BSN program (a choice you must make when registering). Scores sent to UWF Nursing must be received directly from ATI. Any other scores will not be accepted.
