The nursing department is now offering group advising sessions just in time for spring registration. This is by appointment only and is limited to 10 students per session and will be held in the Nursing building (37) room 118.
At the group advising session we will discuss SASS audits, what you should register for in spring and much more. We will answer your questions and we will talk with you individually. These advising appointments are for UWF accepted Pre-BSN students with 30 or more credit hours. If you have less than 30 credit hours completed, you should contact the first year advising center for an advising appointment at (850) 474-3170. The curriculum in the Nursing program prepares students to become clinical generalists who are leaders, managers, and life-long learners who integrate research findings into their nursing practice. The graduate is prepared to plan health care for individuals, families, and groups.
This is a limited access program and acceptance to the University does not constitute admission to the upper division Nursing Program. A separate application must be made to the department.
Students must have completed the common prerequisites for nursing and either:
A minimum grade of "C" is required in all major and major related courses.
