The UWF Forensics Team is a nationally ranked competitive public speaking and debate team that travels to tournaments throughout the U.S. during the Fall and Spring semesters. Membership on the Team is open to all UWF undergraduates. Not only is this activity a place to refine your existing public speaking, acting, and debate skills but an arena to test your talents against some of the finest students in the country.
Club Ad at the University of West Florida is a student chapter affiliated with the Pensacola Bay Area Advertising Federation and its parent, the American Advertising Federation. Club Ad affords students greater insight into the field of advertising than can be accomplished in academic course preparation alone. Club Ad helps prepare students for Hot Shop, UWF's NSAC competition team. Hot Shop is the nations only three-time national advertising champion.
The Florida Public Relations Association (FPRA) is a professional organization dedicated to the unification of public relations practitioners and to their professional development. Joining FPRA affords you the invaluable opportunity to improve your public relations skills, and exchange information and experiences with other public relations practitioners. Full-time students enrolled in public relations at an accredited univerity can become members. FPRA scholarships are awarded to UWF students every year.
