Research Experience for Undergraduates

We are currently seeking motivated undergraduate mathematics or statistics students

for an eight week research experience in combinatorics and statistics related to biology
to learn about career opportunities in mathematics and statistics
to form supportive networks and mentoring relationships

About the program

The program will introduce eight undergraduate mathematics students to research in mathematics and statistics related to biology. Participants will use undergraduate mathematics and statistics together with mathematical and statistical software to investigate, on their own and in collaboration with others, problems that arise in certain areas of biology.

Participants will receive

Each participant will receive housing, meal allowance, a stipend of $3200, and support for travel.
