Introduction
Students in an introductory programming course just like in any other course, often get overwhelmed by the different programming constructs they are exposed to. But instructors have to keep up with the syllabus and can only spend a certain fixed amount of time per topic. So, there is an unstated race taking place between the student’s absorption of the material being covered and covering the content of the syllabus.
However, the goal of any kind of education is to ensure that students absorb and retain the material they are exposed to. Hence it becomes necessary for instructors to find the best means to make this learning experience a win - win situation for both parties. One way to achieve this goal is address the major concerns of students by providing tools that can help overcome these concerns. Some of the major concerns that students face include time constraints, lack of immediate contact with the instructor, type of resources available to answer questions and feed back. The product presented here is to teach the "Loop construct" in ColdFusion MX and will address these issues, so students can learn and master the content.
