Homemade Granola

1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup honey
1/2 cup oil
1/2 cup water
2 teaspoon cinnamon
4 cup quick cooking oats
4 cup old fashioned oats
1/2 cup unsalted sunflower seeds
1/4 cup sesame seeds
1/2 cup raisins; (optional)
1 cup almonds or walnuts; (optional)

Mix together brown sugar, honey, oil, water and cinnamon. Microwave on high until sugar is dissolved. In a separate large bowl, combine oats, sunflower seeds and sesame seeds. Pour hot liquid mixture over dry ingredients and mix well. Microwave on HIGH for 5 minutes. Remove and stir. Repeat for another 5 minutes on High. Remove and stir again. Add nuts at this time, if desired. Microwave on High another 5 minutes and add raisins if used.

Allow to cool and store in airtight container.
