Harvest Loaf

3 1/2 cup flour
2 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon ginger
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
1 cup margarine
2 cup sugar
4 each eggs
1 can Pumpkin; solid pack - 15 - 16 oz
1 1/2 cup chocolate chips
1 1/2 cup walnuts; finely chopped

In large bowl, combine flour, baking soda, cinnamon, salt, nutmeg, ginger, cloves.

Cream margarine. Gradually add sugar and cream at high speed until fluffy. Blend in eggs - beat well.

On low speed, add dry ingredients alternately to creamed mixture with pumpkin. (begin and end with dry ingredients)

Stir in chocolate chips and 1 cup walnuts.

Pour into 2 9x5 inch loaf pans and sprinkle each with 1/4 cup walnuts.

Bake 65 - 75 minutes at 350°F . Let sit at least 6 hours after baking.
