Glazed Carrots & Pineapples

1 lb carrots; pared & julienne
1 can (20 oz) pineapple chunks in juice
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon Salt
2 tablespoon cold water
1 1/2 teaspoon cornstarch

Put carrot strips into a 2-quart glass baking dish. Mix reserved pineapple juice, brown sugar and salt. Pour over carrots. Cover with plastic wrap. Cook in microwave oven 5 minutes at High.

Add pineapple to carrots; mix well. Cook covered in microwave oven 10 - 15 minutes at High, or until carrots are tender; stir several times.

Mix cold water and cornstarch until smooth. Stir ijnto carrot mixture. Cook uncovered in microwave oven 3 minutes at High or until thickened; stir once.
