Cocktail Meatballs Categories: appetizers/snacks/beverages 1 pound ground beef 1/2 cup dry bread crumbs 1/3 cup minced onion 1/4 cup milk 1 large egg 1 tablespoon snipped parsley 1 teaspoon salt 1/8 teaspoon black pepper 1/2 teaspoon worcestershire sauce 3 tablespoon salad oil 1 12-oz bottle chilli sauce 1 10-oz bottle grape jelly Mix ground beef, bread crumbs, onion, milk, egg and next 4 ingredients; gently shape into desired size meatballs. Heat oil in large skillet and brown meatballs; remove from skillet; pour off any fat. (or, bake in 350°F oven for 20 minutes) Heat chili sauce and jelly in skillet, stirring constantly, until jelly is melted. Add meatballs, and stir until thoroughly coated; simmer, uncovered, 30 minutes. Serve from crock pot at low heat. Contributor: Kilty |
