Chocolate Chip Coffee Ring

1/2 cup Butter; softened
1 cup Sugar
2 each eggs
1 cup (8 oz) sour cream
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon Baking Powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon Salt
3/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup brown sugar; packed
1 1/2 teaspoon baking cocoa
1/4 cup cold butter
1/2 cup pecans; chopped
1/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Beat in eggs. Add sour cream and vanilla; mix just until combined. In separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder & soda, and salt; add to creamed misture. Stir in chocolate chips.

Pour into greased 8-cup fluted tube pan.

For topping, combine flour, sugar and cocoa; cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in pecans and choc chps. Sprinkle over batter.

Bake at 350°F for 60 minutes. Cool in pan fefore removing to wire rack.

(note: if using a non-stick dark pan, bake at 325°F )
