Toll House Cookies Categories: desserts 2 1/4 cups flour 1 teaspoon baking soda 1 teaspoon salt 1 cup butter; softened 3/4 cups sugar 3/4 cups brown sugar 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 2 large eggs 12 oz chocolate chips 1 cup nuts (optional); chopped Combine flour, soda and salt in a small bowl. Cream butter, sugars, and vanilla. Add eggs. gradually add flour mixture and mix well. Stir in chips and nuts. Drop into ungreased cookie sheets.
