Increase on 2nd stitch of next 18 rows (24 stitches now on needle) Increase in every stitch of next row (48 stitches now on needle) Knit 2, Purl 2 for 6 inches (34 rows) Knit 2 together across next row (24 stitches now on needle) Decrease in second stitch at beginning of each row until 5 stitches remain on needle Knit 6 rows, then cast off. Make loop for buttonhole by using crochet hook to chain 4 - 6 stitches. Stitch up front & back, sew on buttons.
