Play Dough Categories: other 1 1/2 cup water 2 teaspoon liquid food colors; red, blue or yellow 2 tablespoon oil 2 cup flour 1/2 cup salt 4 tablespoon cream of tartar In small bowl, combine water, food coloring, and oil. Set aside. Put flour, salt, and cream of tartar into a large saucepan. Over medium heat, pour the water mixture into the saucepan, stirring constantly. Cook and stir for five minutes, until a ball of dough forms. Cool the dough for five minutes, and then knead it with your hands until it is smooth. Store in refrigerator when not in use.
