Nut Goodie Bars

1 12 oz pkg chocolate chips
1 12 oz pkg butterscotch chips
2 cups peanut butter
1 lb spanish peanuts
1 cup butter
1/4 cup vanilla pudding mix (cook-n-serve)
1/2 cup evaporated milk
2 lb powdered sugar
1 teaspoon maple flavoring

In medium saucepan, melt chocolate chips, butterscotch chips and peanut butter. (can be done in microwave, but is best done on stovetop). Pour 1/2 this mixture onto foil or wax paper lined jelly roll pan and refrigerate. Add peanuts to remaining half of mixture and set aside. Mix in kettle -- butter, vanilla pudding mix and milk. Boil 1 minute and add maple flavoring and powdered sugar. Spread over first layer. Spread remaining chocolate/peanut mixture over top. After cooling, cut into small squares ... very rich. Store in refrigerator -- freezes well.
