Banana Bread Categories: breads/pasta/rice 4 large ripe bananas; mashed 2 cups sugar 1 cup shortening 4 large eggs 1 teaspoon salt 1 cup sour milk 4 cups flour 2 teaspoon baking soda 1/2 cup walnuts; chopped (Make sour milk by adding 2 Tablespoons vinegar to 1 cup of millk) Cream together sugar and shortening Add eggs, bananas and milk. Sift together flour, soda and salt Mix all ingredients. Pour into ungreased loaf pans and bake at 350°F (325°F glass) for 75 minutes.
